Our Story

BURNING TO GIVE BACK

Pride Candle Company was born out of two passions—hand crafting candles, and supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, our founder has always worked hard to advance equity and equality for all. But he knew that if he could find a way to help more people connect to the cause, he could make a much bigger impact. So he turned to his love of fragrance and candle making.

EVERY CANDLE MAKES A DIFFERENCE

We donate 10% of the proceeds of every candle we sell to an organization or project that supports the LGBTQ+ community. This quarter, we’re proud to support the Important work of True Colors United.

Co-founded in 2008 by Cyndi Lauper, True Colors United develops and implements solutions to youth homelessness that focus on the unique needs of LGBTQ youth and youth of color. We achieve this work through four key program areas: Training & Education, Advocacy, Youth Action, and Technical Assistance. Through this work, we effect change at the local, state, national, and international levels to make sure no young person ever experiences homelessness because of who they are.
